Bankruptcy Paralegal

Seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support attorneys throughout the bankruptcy process. This role manages case preparation, document organization, communication, and creditor support. Strong organization and the ability to work under deadlines are essential.
Bankruptcy Paralegal Responsibilities
· Prepare bankruptcy filings including petitions, schedules, statements, and reorganization plans.
· Maintain electronic and physical case files and ensure court compliance.
· Track deadlines and manage case calendars.
· Review financial records and contracts to identify assets, liabilities, and claims.
· Summarize findings for attorney review.
· Communicate with clients, creditors, and involved parties; coordinate meetings and calls.
· Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, and related documents.
· Prepare and file court documents electronically or in person.
· Support attorneys in hearings and creditor meetings; organize exhibits and materials.
Bankruptcy Paralegal Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent experience preferred.
· Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.
· 5+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience.
· Proficient with CLS, PACER, and Microsoft Office.
· Strong organization, communication, and client service skills.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
· Reliable attendance.
